Biography
I did two years post graduate scientist (post-doc) at Institute for Mathematics Applied to Geosciences (IMAGe), at National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder, CO before I moved to Purdue in 2008. I moved to University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2013, and now I am a Professor with Richard and Margaret Romano Professorial Scholar and ORMIR Faculty Scholar. I was also a Data Science Founder Professorial Scholar during 2018 to 2021.

Research Description
My research mainly focuses on spatial and spatio-temporal statistics and environmental statistics concerning problems in climatology, atmospheric sciences, public health, forestry and agriculture.
